Terms
These terms cover this website, the API preview and how early beta access works. Nothing on this site creates an account or takes a payment. Teams invited to the beta agree separate terms for the service itself.
Who you are dealing with
Primedmail is founded by Sriram Alluri. In these terms “Primedmail” and “we” mean the operator of this site. Questions about these terms go to sriram@primedmail.com. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Early beta access
Primedmail is in early beta. Access is by invitation, after a conversation with the founder about what your agent does and how much it sends. Emailing us does not create an account, a contract for service or a promise of access, and we may decline any request without giving a reason. Nothing on this site creates an account or takes a payment. Please tell us accurately what you plan to send; we treat that conversation as the start of the account review described below.
The API preview
The API preview describes what we are building. Endpoints, fields, limits and behaviour may change or be dropped before launch. Nothing on this site, including code samples and sample data, is a commitment to deliver a feature, a price, a deliverability result or a date. Sample data on the site is labelled as sample and does not describe real inboxes or customers.
Acceptable use
An API that hands out sending inboxes is only useful while those inboxes keep a good reputation, and one careless sender can damage domains and shared infrastructure for everyone. So these rules apply to every beta conversation now and are part of every Primedmail account:
- Every account is reviewed by a person before it receives an inbox.
- Sends are capped per inbox per day. Caps rise per account after review, not on request.
- Only email people with a plausible business reason to hear from you, and comply with the laws that apply to your sending, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR and the UK and EU e-privacy rules, CASL, and India’s Information Technology Act and its rules.
- Identify the real sender, include a working way to opt out, and honour every opt-out promptly.
- No phishing, impersonation, malware, deceptive subject lines or misleading claims.
- No purchased or scraped lists unless you have a lawful basis to email every address on them.
- No content that is illegal, harassing or sexually explicit, and no sending on behalf of anyone you have not vetted yourself.
- Do not try to get around caps, reviews or suspensions, including by opening extra accounts.
We monitor bounce rates, complaint rates and reputation. Accounts that burn domains or break these rules will be suspended or closed, and inboxes withdrawn, with or without notice. If you see Primedmail-provided inboxes being abused, tell us at sriram@primedmail.com.
Using this site
You may read, link to and share this site. Do not attack, overload or scrape it in a way that harms it, and do not request access on someone else’s behalf without their permission. Agents may draft an access request for the person they work for, using that person’s real details, as described in llms.txt.
Intellectual property
The Primedmail name, the site design, text, illustrations and code samples belong to Primedmail. You may copy the code samples to try out the API once it exists. Third-party names and logos shown as compatible tools belong to their owners and do not imply endorsement.
No warranties, limited liability
The site and preview are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for anything relating to the site is limited to INR 5,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
How we handle what you send us is described in the privacy policy.
Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them as the product takes shape; the date at the top shows the current version, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.
