Who we are

Primedmail (“we”) is founded by Sriram Alluri. We decide what happens to the information described here. Write to sriram@primedmail.com about anything on this page.

What we collect

Nothing through forms. There is no form, account or sign-in on this site. If you email us, we receive whatever you put in that email, such as what your agent does and how much it sends, along with your name and address as your mail client sends them. The access buttons on this site only open your own email program with a message to sriram@primedmail.com filled in; nothing is sent until you press send.

We do not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site, and we do not set cookies of our own. Like any web host, our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time) to serve the site and keep it secure.

Why we use it

• to reply to you
• to manage early beta access, which depends on what your agent does and how much it sends
• to email you about your access and the API preview

Our basis for this is your consent, given when you write to us, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We will not add you to unrelated mailing lists, and we will never sell, rent or trade your information.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers needed to run the site and read our mail:

• Vercel, which hosts this website and keeps its request logs
• our email provider, which stores mail sent to sriram@primedmail.com

These providers may process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your emails for as long as we need them to reply and to manage your beta access, and no longer than twelve months after our last exchange unless you become a customer, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. If you become a customer, the terms of that account will govern from then on. Hosting logs are kept by Vercel under its own retention schedule.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can ask us to stop emailing you. Email sriram@primedmail.com from the address you wrote to us from and we will act on it within 30 days. These rights apply under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we extend the same treatment to everyone, including visitors covered by the GDPR or UK GDPR. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Primedmail is a tool for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

As Primedmail moves past early beta this policy will grow to cover the product itself. We will update the date at the top of this page whenever it changes, and tell the people we are in touch with about any change that affects how we use what they sent us. The rules for using the site are in the terms.
